About our cause

In August 2017 Caitlin, Hal, Iolo, Peter and myself are trekking all the way to Everest base camp (an incredible 5380m above sea level!) to raise money for the invaluable work of Childreach International. One of their main projects aims to target the fastest growing business in the world: child trafficking. Taught not Trafficked is a scheme set up to try and keep children in education for as long as possible, not only providing them with more opportunities but also greatly decreasing their risk of being trafficked. Our fundraising is helping support this goal and other equally valuable projects run by Childreach across the globe. I would be so grateful for your help in achieving my aim of raising £2985 by June 2017; whilst some of this total will be spent on personal expenses in completing the trek, the majority goes to furthering the work of Childreach International.
