About World Challenge Nicaragua 2017 - Lindsay Kerr
I am excited to be going on a World Challenge educational expedition to Nicaragua. I will work on projects with rural communities. Working with the local people will allow me to become familiar with their way of life and the problems they face. Nicaragua is still a developing country, and poor compared to its neighbours. We will work with the local people in some way eg basic renovation and teaching in rural schools or replanting of indigenous trees. We will camp on site or stay in classrooms no fancy hotels!There is also a 4 day trek across 4 volcanoes. No mobile, make up or straighteners for two whole weeks!Thanks for your help. Your contribution will be felt half way across the world.
