Established in 1854, Lochgelly is one of the oldest brass bands in Scotland.  As well as competing at Local and National level, the band also performs regularly in the local community – at events such as Galas, Christmas Concerts and Remembrance Sunday.  

We are currently fundraising to complete the final renovation on our much-loved (but very old!) band hall and replace many of our musical instruments.  In 2024 we were delighted to launch our youth/training band so it would be great to be able to purchase lots of new music, instruments and learning materials as this new venture continues to thrive!
