Jersey registered charity (AJC membership no 426), founded upon the principle of Alms giving, the charity is committed to providing long-term care and support to the homeless, the poor and those in need in the island. Love Thy Neighbour opened two Almshouses in Jersey in 2014 to provide long-term accommodation for individuals who would otherwise be unable to create a permanent home. Member of the National Association of Almshouses. The charity has also established a healthcare support service.
