Over £32m raised for good causes through easyfundraising
During our 18 day stay we will be organising, leading and taking part in a trek through various villages and rural communities, will trek through famous volcano ranges, and will also hike up Cerro Negro volcano and spend time at San Juan del Sur on the Pacific Coast. However the main aim and purpose of the expedition will be taking part in the La Esperanza Project in Granada, which is a charity project that focuses on childrens education, we will be assisting by spending a large amount of the trip doing construction and renovation work in the schools, as well as spending time with the children through teaching them English and running sports activities for them. This will be the most eye-opening part of the expedition, and I am really looking forward to spending time with the people who live there, and socialising with the children as well as experiencing a totally new and different culture and way of life, whilst giving something back to this country.
