Over £32m raised for good causes through easyfundraising
In May 2003, Mandy Creelman (35), of Lancashire, lost her battle with acute Leukaemia, but her dreams will live on thanks to her family. From her hospital bed at The Christie Hospital in Manchester, she dreamed of walking along the Great Wall of China when she recovered. Now her family are hoping to make that dream come true by undertaking the challenge themselves. Mandy\'s daughter and sister Heather Creelman and Louise Morrison-Devine (respectively) will be joined by Carrie-Ann Kay to undertake the mammoth task of a 8 day trek in May, 2010. The trek will raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care in aid of Mandy\'s dream to help those who are affected by Cancer. In 2001, Mandy begun training to become a nurse, when she were diagnosed with Leukameia in December, she decided to use her first-hand experience to help others by specialising in cancer care. Unfortunately, Mandy lost her battle on 31st May 2003, leaving her 3 children; Nicky, Heather and Melissa.
