About Medieval Music in the Dales
Medieval Music in the Dales is a new festival of historical music, involving as many musicians as possible who enjoy playing medieval music. Both professionals and amateurs will come together over a long weekend (September 2nd-4th 2016) at Bolton Castle in North Yorkshire, for concerts, open stages, workshops and dancing and there'll also be instruments and medieval crafts for sale. It's being run by my ensemble, Trouvère, on a non-profit basis and we hope to make it an annual event.
