I’m looking for some help and support please. My name is Mili Patel and I am a student at The John Warner School in Hoddesdon. I am participating in a 4 week self-funded expedition to Kenya in 2024 with Camps International.I will be carrying out community development work, environmental projects and wildlife conservation. And hopefully have some fun along the way! The core objectives of this expedition are to undertake projects in order to:- Raise the educational standards of developing communities- Raise the living standards- Assist with ongoing wildlife conservation programs to preserve biodiversity and protect vulnerable habitats. This is extremely important to me. At a time when everyone is struggling, it’s really important for us to think about those that are less fortunate than us, and where money may feel like the most appropriate answer, it’s the help and support these communities need to build their homes, infrastructure, and environments that will allow them to live their lives at an acceptable standard. It will help me to develop and gain many important life skills. Working with the community will help me to understand and support the challenges people in Kenya are facing.I would be extremely grateful for any contributions (big or small) you can make towards my fundraising, which will support in the cost of travel, equipment and materials to make this project possible.
