3 weeks with time in Delhi, trekking and community based projects - building of a greenhouse for a community in the Spiti valley, trekking and wild camping along the Wolf Trek in the Himalayas,and some time in Delhi at the start and end of the expedition. A mixture of adventure, experiencing different cultures,cuisine, people and environments in India, sightseeing opportunities in the city and amazing countryside, and community work supporting environment and self sufficiency projects with a local NGO. This project will provide sheltered and protected growing areas all year around for a local community where the environmental conditions and climate make this difficult and cause hardship. Exciting and fantastic 'life' learning experience! Seeing, feeling and contibuting to so many things that I possibly never would have without this expedition opportunity.
