(NCI Pwllheli) NCI Pwllheli is a planned new National Coastwatch Institution Lookout station, scheduled to be commissioned in 2013. It will be manned by a group of volunteer, highly trained watchkeepers, who, apart rom their official duties will get involved in local fundraising events, to equip, maintain and run the station. The NCI is a registered charity and a totally voluntary organisation, and in accordance with the Institution's rules NCI Pwllheli must be funded at a local level. The volunteers, work closely with all other elements of the Search and Rescue organisation, to preserve the life and safety of all users of our coastline and coastal waters.. NCI watchkeepers have been involved in many serious incidents at sea and have been instrumental in saving many lives, and this can only be achieved by expert training and the purchase of expensive observational equipment. NCI Pwllheli would like to thank everyone who donates to this website.
