About Nepalese Help - Maddhat Shamuha
Nepalese Help aims and objectives support the Nepalese people (predominantly older ex-Gurkhas) integrate into the local community, with English lessons and signposting to get help. This small group has grown to over one thousand members and any funds received will pay for hall hire and to sustain projects e.g. ladies group, buddy support and health and well being initiatives. Members also help the wider community through gardening for the elderly and dancing in care homes etc. Queens Award 2012.
