About City Of Newport Swimming and Water Polo Club

The City of Newport Swimming and Water Polo Club is a competitive swimming club. The club has 5 squads ranging from Dolphins where swimmers at Level 8 in the National Plan for Teaching Swimming (NPTS) are coached to improve their swimming techniques and stamina through to Regional Squad where our elite swimmers train over 10 sessions per week and compete in National and International events. In recent years the club has become one of the most successful swimming clubs in Wales under our Head Coach, supported by a team of dedicated volunteer coaches who provide all the support necessary to ensure our swimmers develop and progress. The club prides itself on providing a safe, enjoyable, stimulating and challenging environment for all swimmers whatever squad they attend.
