About OCD Action
OCD Action is working for a society where Obsessive Compulsive Spectrum Disorder (OCD) is diagnosed quickly, where appropriate treatment options are open and accessible, where support and information is readily available and where nobody feels ashamed to ask for help. We are a national charity that provides support and information to anybody affected by OCD, raises awareness of the disorder amongst health and social care professionals and lobbies for better access to treatments and services. Formed by a group of volunteers and medical professionals in 1994 the charity is recognised as a powerful voice for people with OCD and a vital source of help.
