About this cause

About our cause

Oily Cart was established 33 years ago and is renowned for creating theatre for two audiences who are often under provided for in terms of cultural activity: the very young and young people with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) and those on the Autistic Spectrum Disorder. We aim to make a positive difference to the lives of young people and their families, who can be excluded from cultural activity because of the barriers they face through disability.
