About Old Amplefordians FC
Old Amplefordians FC is a team of old boys from Ampleforth College in North Yorkshire. The club was formed in 2006 and plays in the Arthurian League. Any donation to assist the running of our club is greatly appreciated. The club receives a small amount of money from the school each September. However the club is kept alive by the players paying £35 subscription for the season and £5 a game to pay for referees, pitch hire, match tea etc. Apart from that, we organise a small football tournament every summer with all proceeds going directly into the running of the club which helps us pay for group insurance, league affiliation, AFA affiliation, cup entrance fees, kit maintenance and other miscellaneous costs to ensure the club can continue to function .
