Over £35m raised for good causes through easyfundraising
I will be embarking on a trip to Cambodia in the summer of 2014 with my school for 4 weeks. We will be travelling in 3 teams of roughly 15 students plus staff. This trip is mainly run by the students with the guidance of Wilderness Expertise and the students get to decide in where we go and what we do (within reason). However, although we will be visiting the many sites of Cambodia and learning about their lifestyle and culture, we will also be helping the local community and are going to help rebuild part of a school for the children to learn and socialise in. The trip involves a lot of physically challenging activities and in order to complete the training from the Wilderness Expertise, we will be going on several weekend trips to more local areas within the UK where we can learn and practise the skills we will need for going out there. I think this will be a very challenging and memorable experience that I hope to learn lots from.
