About World Challenge: Zambia 2015 - Owen Green

My peers and I start by arriving in the capital city of Zambia, Lusaka where we begin our project phase which provides us with an opportunity to immerse ourself in local culture and help teach English songs and games as well as help the ladies of the community with cooking. Next we travel by bus to Bridge Camp in Luangwa Bridge Market where we will get off where the Great East Road meets the Mozambique border and then we will walk 3km South to Bridge Camp along the dirt road heading to Luangwa town. Once we reach the next camp we will get the opportunity to admire the beauty overlooking the Luangwa River where we may see hippos, crocodiles and many beautiful birds including Fish Eagles. Quickly we start our trek again into Lusemfwa Gorge where we will eventually arrive at the Lungwa Bridge where we will lose our equipment and food into canoes and prepare to cross one of the largest rivers in Zambia Lungwa River. Once we arrive at our next destination we will gain the opportunity to take part in climbing out of the river and over some small peaks or to canoe across the river and climb up to a 660m peak 1km South-west of the river bank. After we take part in activities we gently paddle our way back to bridge camp where we will camp overnight before heading to Chipata in order to reach our trek phase in the north where we will get an early bus to South Luangwa to reach the National Park. On arrival we will get to start a safari and have the chance to see many of Zambia's beautiful creatures like Zebras, Elephants, Giraffes, Hippos and Gazelles. That same night we will set camp in Mfuwe Village. Before going home we will get the chance to help the community of Zambia by building a well or a school decreasing their need for key resources.

"There's quite a few sites similar to easyfundraising. But where this site stands out is it's helpful & quick replies to queries. It is so easy to set up an account & to start saving for a good cause - I've recommended easyfundraising to a lot of my friends, and they're as impressed as I am with the ease of how it works."

David - easyfundraising user

"I run a not for profit Community Interest Company and shared our cause. Very easy to use, templates ready to share on social media, with direct links to our page and pop up reminders installed for when I was shopping with numerous websites, where I could gain the free donation. Excellent service and a fabulous idea."
