About Parish of Laisterdyke
St Mary's works in inner city Bradford with few resources. We work mainly with children, families and the elderly who are most likely to have few opportunities for a fulfilled life. We run clubs and social events for children from tots to 13 yrs giving them fun, good role models and social skills to get on in the future. For the elderly who live independently, often in poor health and circumstances, we have day care with a hot meal & social events, so they make friends & get good support.
