Over £35m raised for good causes through easyfundraising
The Pink Cow Project is a new Social Enterprise that adopts the principles of Care Farming to provide a range of therapeutic social, educational and health services to vulnerable groups in Pembrokeshire. The service-users include marginalised young persons; those with learning difficulties and individuals with physical and mental health problems. The intention is to work closely with local multi-agencies to help with the delivery of health and social care provision in line with recently announced government plans in this sector.
Specifically the Care Farm offers Supported Accommodation, Training and Employment opportunities for disadvantaged and socially excluded 16 - 25 year olds within Pembrokeshire. As an Organic Farm the business is committed to providing a range of unadulterated dairy and other produce to its customers. Farming activities include calf and sheep-rearing with a shorthorn dairy herd being established at a later date.
