About this cause

About our cause

PlasticFreePeriods aims to provide to all women of all age group chemical free, organic and reusable sanitary pads. Currently sold products are made of up to 90% plastic. With 4.5 billion menstrual products sold in the UK per year and an estimated 1.5-2 billion items flushed down Britain’s toilets. These items create 500 trillion microplastics sent to our oceans. PlasticFreePeriods will launch an awareness campaign with your donations and distribute free products to schools around England.
