About this cause

About our cause

Play Montgomeryshire is a voluntary organisation based in Newtown which promotes play activities for children, parents, carers and groups in the communities of Montgomeryshire, Powys. It was formed in 1977 and is a registered charity run by a voluntary management committee. Our aim is to provide free or low-cost activities to local communities to enhance children and young people’s play opportunities; and to encourage the involvement of parents and other adults in these activities.
