RAMDA International is a part of RAMDA (a UK registered charity) and focuses on relief and development projects in the Horn of Africa providing education and healthcare services and developing human capacity to deal with local issues. What We Do We undertake various projects that contribute to the economic, cultural and social development of the Horn of Africa as well providing relief to the needy by providing basic necessities such as food, water and shelter Our main base of operations is in Somalia, a country torn by civil war , famine and poverty for over 20 years. We are proud to say we have now established three growing schools for orphans , and destitute children in the Somaliland region. As well as providing an education we also have provide medical and other necessities to them and the local community. We recently raised £20,000 for emergency relief in the region of Baidoa in Southern Somalia, an area stricken with famine and civil war.
