The proposed World Challenge trip to Southern Tanzania would be for me a trip of a lifetime, 3 weeks to experience a culturally enriching experience including an education through exploration allowing me to gain experience of other cultures to help and develop (however small) remote infrastructures in rural communities and a taste of living in the adult world. I'm looking forward to meeting new people and being able to assist, in any small way, those less fortunate than I and may even pick up some of the local language along the way (Swahili). Sharing an experience like this with other like-minded people will hopefully go a long way to strengthen existing friendships and develop new ones. I would ask you to note that this will not be a holiday. As the name suggests, this is a challenge, a big one for which you not only have to be physically prepared but also mentally, one which I am ready to face and hopefully shall go a long way to assist in developing me into a well-rounded human being.
