About Relay For Life Lincoln
Relay For Life is an inspirational overnight event that honours cancer survivors and celebrates life. Whether you raise money through coffee mornings, karaoke, or something more challenging, you can be sure that it’s going towards our life-saving work. Team up with friends and family. Raise money for Cancer Research UK. Make a difference and save lives. This is the second year that Lincoln has held a Relay for Life event - last year's event raised over £13,000 for Cancer Research and this year we are aiming to raise even more! Which is where you can help... Lincoln Relay for Life takes place at Waddington Playing Field from 12 noon Saturday 23 July through to 12 noon Sunday 24 July 2011. Registered teams gather and take turns walking laps. Each team keeps at least one member on the track at all times, while all around them a party is in full swing.
