Rotherham United Ladies were formed as a youth club side in 1969, originally known as Kilnhurst Shooting Stars and women’s football was a minority sport with very few clubs in the area.
The club is desperate for any help that is possible, to find sponsors or grants that they may be due, but they\'ve never had anyone willing to put in the time and work needed to do it. This is another downfall for the club, not being to afford and employ staff due to pressure of funds. Funding for paying for the use of the home ground, playing kit, training kit, buses, physiotherapist, coaching etc. (many more as it costs a fortune to run the club), Rotherham United Ladies Football Club are a Non Profit Community Organisation. This is a high profile Ladies football club based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire chaired by Valorie Hoyle, involved in the club for 41 years since the age of 12. Valerie Hoyle has managed to keep this club running by providing funding from her own pocket but now struggling to continue to keep this high profile club going.
The club are struggling to secure funding for Kits, Transport, stationary etc. I am looking for the kindness... of companies and individuals, to help this team by providing funding or donations of stationary ie Ink cartridges etc. I am more than willing to provide any proof needed to you to assist in your decision on helping the club. The club would appreciate any kind of help whether it be through donations of cartridges, offering services free of charge, or sponsorship. The team\'s home ground is in Rotherham but they have to train in Worksop. They have to rely on each other for lifts etc. But the team are finding it extremely hard and a few players are having to leave the team due to struggling to travel. This is causing strain on this well established club and it may lead to the club closing.
