We are a branch of The Pony Club, an international voluntary youth organisation for young people interested in ponies and riding. Our branch is quite small with approximately 60 members. The youngest member we have is 4 years old, our eldest will be 21 this year.
The objectives of The Pony Club are:
* to encourage young people to ride and to learn to enjoy all kinds of sport connected with horses and riding
* to give instruction in riding and horsemastership and to educate Members to look after and to take proper care of their animal
* to promote the highest ideals of sportsmanship, citizenship and loyalty to create strength of character and self-discipline
Many of our members are competitive, entering dressage, show jumping, eventing, tetrathlon, Polocrosse, mounted games, and the area quiz. We hold lots of rallies, training, and go on hacks. One of the highlights of the year is camp.
It's simple to use and it's free. Since we launched in 2005, we've helped thousands of good causes raise money simply by shopping online. Our community of over 2.1 million loyal supporters has so far raised over £40 million.
