About this cause

About our cause

Scammonden is a local community sailing club with approximately 100 members. Most of our members are families with children who sail on a regular basis. The club has been in operation since 1972 and has recently started work to secure its future by making sure that the club house is water tight. The club is now planning on improving access for all and needs to raise funds to be able to modernise the changing facilities and improve the teaching facilities as well.

It's simple to use and it's free. Since we launched in 2005, we've helped thousands of good causes raise money simply by shopping online. Our community of over 1.8 million loyal supporters has so far raised over £31 million.
