World Challenge India 2018 - Scarlett McGourlay

In July 2018 myself and 15 other of my fellow students at Alcester Acdemy will embark on a journey of a life time! For 2 weeks we will live in the south of India, immersing ourselves in the culture. We will camp, trek, cook and volunteer our time and labour to help less fortunate people in the areas we stay. Whether it be improving education or building a well, our world challenge team will do whatever we can do to help the local community's. As well as helping out we will trek through the munnar spice/tea plantations meeting and learning from the locals along the way. This trip is not holiday. It is a challenge. I know our team is full of dedicated and hardworking individuals who wish to widen their knowledge of the world and educate themselves on cultures and traditions. I need £2500 to pay for expenses and to go towards the charity/the community's and another £500 for my visa, jabs, equipment and training. Therefore I'm asking for absouloutely any donations, anything would mean the world to me and I will be so appreciative! I'm hoping to raise at least half via my jobs and volunteer work, so I don't need the full £3000.
