SERV Kent - The Blood Runners

SERV Kent, which is also known as the 'Bloodrunners', is a charitable organisation that delivers blood products to the Accident and Emergency hospitals across the county of Kent at night, free of charge, whenever and wherever it's urgently needed. SERV Kent is a Registered Charity (#1154270) run by dedicated volunteer motorcyclists and drivers who give their time and petrol to do their bit, using their bikes and cars to help others who need emergency supplies of blood. Every day of the year we transport 'Golden Hour Blood' for use on-board the Kent Air Ambulance (KSSAA) out of Marden in Kent. The children's hospice Demelza, is now also using our services for transferring urgent medication and supplies on behalf of families throughout Kent, Sussex and South East London. Each member is issued a Jacket, ID Card and receipt pad, controllers have phones and bills to be paid and our few dedicated response bikes need to be maintained, taxed and insured. This can only be done with the kind and generous support of our sponsors and fundraisers. SERV Kent provides a service that has saved many lives.
