50% of people living in rural communities in Ecuador live below the poverty line. With a lack of Education and poor growing conditions the problem of chronic malnutrition in the highlands is growing. Siân will be going to Ecuador for four weeks to work with camp international and the local community to help plant trees in the Amazon, help build greenhouses for growing crops, build kitchens in nearby schools. Siân needs to raise money for this trip and would be greatfull for any contribution.
