About Sierra Leone Poverty Relief
This charity helps some of the poorest people on our planet. A UN-report in January 08 stated that Sierra Leone \\\"is the worst place to be born in the world: 1 in 4 children will die before their 5th birthday\\\". In contrast the UK Pensions Minister reported in Oct 2008 that 1 in 4 children born in the UK now can expect to see their 100th birthday. A 14-year brutal and indiscriminate Rebel War there unfortunately plunged an already third world country deeper into poverty. Our Charity helps village children by paying for badly needed hospital care, school fees and also training of community nurses. Your help could make all the difference, as we depend on donations from all sources.
