Simpson's Memory Box Appeal

Belhaven

SIMBA responds to the needs of those affected by the loss of a baby during pregnancy or close to the time of birth. Parents can find comfort in our precious Memory Box and the charities aim is to provide these to every maternity unit in Scotland. We also aim to provide Familiy Rooms in hospitals where parents who sadly experience the loss of a baby may spend further time with it in a non-clinical setting. The SiMBA Tree of Tranquillity is a stunning hand-crafted sculpture and each leaf is inscribed in memory of a baby and attached to the Tree as a beautiful symbol of rememberance. SiMBA aims to provide a Tree of Tranquillity within every NHS Trust region. The SiMBA team works on a voluntary basis and relies on the support of fundraising efforts and donations by others to help it achieve its aims and continue to support those affected by the loss of a baby.
