About Sleaford Navigation Trust
The Sleaford Navigation is a rural waterway connecting the market town of Sleaford in Lincolnshire to the River Witham. Of the original 13 miles, 8 have been made navigable by Sleaford Navigation Trust and are accessible to the inland waterway network. The aim of the Trust is to restore the remainder of the waterway to navigable standard and promote the recreational use of the whole area, including adjoining footpaths and towpaths, by local people and visitors.
