About Sutton on the Hill Village Hall - Ashbourne

The village hall opened in the 1970's following the closure of the village school. It was handed over to the Village in 2007. It relies totally on income from rental and fundraising. It is home to the local Pre –School group, Women’s Institute, Bowls Club, Yoga and is well used for local events and parties. Since 2007, the hall has been steadily improved. Current plans are to raise money to replace the old rotting windows with double glazed ones and to develop a new children’s play area.
