Southend Sea Cadets is a maritime youth charity with over 60 beneficiaries aged 10-18 from Southend and the surrounding area. Through fun activities and training on a nautical theme we help young people get a head start in life. Our aim is to help young people towards responsible adulthood encouraging respect, loyalty, self-discipline, commitment, honesty and integrity.  We provide educational training opportunities including the Duke of Edinburgh scheme, B Techs in public services,Marine Engineering, various nautical and boating qualifications accredited to the R.Y.A.
