About St Michael and All Angels Church - Abbey Wood

We are an Anglican parish Church in Abbey Wood, South London. We have for 100 years served the local community, not only as a place of worship and pastoral care but also by providing a home for many Community Groups and Organisations. Abbey Wood is an area with many Social Needs and we are classified as an Urban Priority Parish. Our work is taking on a new importance as the area is beginning to undergo Social Change. We hope to continue to provide a focus for community life at this time. As a Parish Church we receive no external funding and we are dependent on our Congregation and on donations to fund our work.
