Established in 2003 Stormsaver was created as part of an ambitious plan to develop a sustainable and eco-friendly approach to the growing water supply problems in the UK. Based in the heart of Nottinghamshire, Stormsaver creates and develops innovative and state-of-the-art rainwater harvesting systems to help businesses and individuals recycle rainwater and reduce utility costs, whilst helping the environment. Stormsaver has received many accolades for its pioneering work in the sustainable construction sector. These include being finalists in the Innovation category of the National Business Awards in 2009, finalists in the Midlands Excellence Awards 2009 and in 2007 being selected as Nottinghamshire’s Most Innovative Business. The team at Stormsaver are committed to innovation in sustainable technologies and, as such, have donated a rainwater harvesting system to the Creative Homes Energy Project at the University of Nottingham, to help in pioneering research into creating low cost, zero carbon homes.
