St Thomas More is a small, successful 11-16 secondary school in Buxton. In May 2013 the school received a 'Good' judgement from Ofsted and has achieved consistently good exam results. The school has an excellent and supportive PTA who are very proactive in raising funds for the school however due to the cuts in education funding the school needs to raise more funds to buy those 'extras' that will make all the difference to the school and the education of the children.
