About Kids Aid Tanzania

Kids Aid Tanzania is concerned with supporting small Tanzanian-run organisations involved in the caring, educating and training of vulnerable and disabled children. Due to the AIDS pandemic there are now 1,000,000 children in the country who have lost their parents. Some are looked after in their communities, if they still have living relatives, others live in orphanages. Many of these have been set up using the savings of their founders who have given up their jobs to help these kids. As their savings run out so the need for external help becomes more important to enable them to continue their valuable work. This is provided by Kids Aid Tanzania.
