Hello, my name is Tao Andrews. I am a 16 year old sixth form student, studying biology, chemistry and Spanish and this July I will be travelling to the Dominican Republic with an organisation called 'Gap medic'. During my time in the Domincian republic, I will be shadowing doctors in local hospitals, volunteering in orphanages and local towns to better the wellbeing of the citizens and gain an insight to their healthcare system and how it differs to ours.
