Over £35m raised for good causes through easyfundraising
A team of Care UK adventurers have come together to take on the challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Feb 2013. During this year we we be organising a number of charity events to raise funds on behalf of the trip and in aid of our charity Scope. We will approach Kilimanjaro from the Machame route, through dense tropical rainforest all the way to the mighty summit at 5,896 meters. Our chosen charity Scope are supporting the trip and we are raising much needed funds for a very good cause. Scope works with disabled people, of all ages, and their families, across England and Wales. They offer practical, everyday support and deliver campaigns that can change lives.Their vision is a world where disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else. Together we can create a better society. Please support us in supporting Scope. As part of the training we will be climbing Snowdon and some of us are taking part in the 3 peaks challenge in June 2012.
