Women V Cancer Cycle Brazil 2017 - Team Stanley

For the first time, both of us will be cycling together which will be an amazing experience in itself! Between us we have cycled Sri Lanka, Cuba, Mongolia, Kenya and Tanzania for various charities, and this time we are going to conquer the South American continent together!!!! For me it will be a privilege to cycle with my amazing Mum who will be 72 by the time she does this, hard as nails! The challenge is on to cycle 350km in just five days in one of the most beautiful areas of Brazil. The ride starts and finishes in the UNESCO World Heritage town of Salvador. We will cycle along tropical coastline, through Atlantic rainforest as we experience the exotic culture and food of Brazil. It will be a journey full of fun, friendship and incredible support as women of all ages and from all walks of life challenge themselves for an amazing cause. This fantastic challenge is a great opportunity to get fit, lose weight and have an experience of a life time all whilst raising significant funds to help in the fight against breast, ovarian and cervical cancers. Funds raised by Women V Cancer will be divided equally between three important charities: Breast Cancer Care, Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust and Ovarian Cancer Action and used to support their valuable work.
