About The Foundation
‘The Foundation’ is a constituted community organisation which has a child protection policy and equal opportunities policy. ‘The Foundation’ intends to provide recreational activities, a homework club, a meeting place and support services etc, for the local Shelton youth. We are currently looking for sources of funding. Funding shall be used to purchase; recreational equipment Books/magazines ICT equipment/internet equipment & audio visual equipment. Furniture We hope to attract local children/youth by providing a place where they can socialise, away from the temptations of crime and anti-social behaviour. ASB is on the increase in the Shelton area, so once fully up and running, the intention is to set up homework/educational support with ICT terminals and internet facilities.
