About our cause

We are a group of volunteers who set up a company in February this year in the name of murdered teenager Sunday Essiett. Although we are registered as a company we receive no funding to do the work we do and as we are all volunteers we make no profit for ourselves. We work with the most disadvantaged in our community with an emphasis on youth. We have five sectors that deal with young women and men showing them how to value their true worth and learn life skills. We have a sector that is for ex-offenders and a family first sector which deals with family issues including gang exit strategies for youths, intervention and support. Our final sector is an entertainment sector where we get local young people off the streets and involved in planning and hosting their own talent shows which they also perform at. The planning is on going and keeps the young people continually focused on the projects and gives them an alternative to street life. We also hold off-loading sessions for people in the community as well as bereavement support services for young people grieving after the loss of a friend or loved one to gun and knife violence.
