V2020 Raising and Nurturing Leaders

V2020, a registered charity organization (No:-1142264), adopts instructive social, leadership skills training, sports/exercises to strengthen communities, provide opportunities for women, especially young girls excluded from community projects/activities due to gender issues, socially disadvantaged, hard to reach, excluded young people age 13-18/25; through low income, fewer opportunities, rural, social isolation etc; assist them find routes back into education, volunteering, employment, and vocational skills acquisition. Based in Black Minority Ethnic & Asian communities of Gorton, Manchester UK; one of the most socially deprived and disadvantaged neighbourhoods in UK (Government Report ’08), lacked Government Regeneration drive, one of the 10% most deprived wards in Britain, and also among 30% most deprived Lower Super Output Areas. V2020 enhances young people’s personal development through wider community involvement, train, empower, and skill them through coaching, mentoring; thereby improving their self-confidence and esteem. V2020 ‘Safer Stronger Communities Initiative’, 'RTS' Youths Reclaim The Streets, 'KIO' Kick it our Kick Racism Out selected as a case study by the YiA/British Council for 2012 verifiable from British Council web site. 'KIO' aims to build respect in the community, reduce intolerance, racism, xenophobia, prejudice, anti-social behaviour from hard to reach, poverty stricken, excluded young people through reformative and participatory sporting activities. 75% of participants on 'KIO' were socially integrated into community activities through follow-up projects which reduced isolation, maintained independence and improved self confidence/esteem. Due to successfully delivering on agreed project goals, YiA/British Council approved Action 3.1 'EPAC' Euromed- Path to Active Citizenship which was successfully delivered and with great testimonials from all participants and 'WARX' War Against Racism and Xenophobia an Eastern European window action project for delivery in October 2013. Youth Exchange Programme titled 'YIDS' Youth Integration and Dialogue through Sports and Transnational Youth Initiative Programme titled 'M4A' Motivate for Action were approved and successfully delivered between 18th - 24th and 25th - 31st August 2013. Furthermore, another project was approved for delivery by YiA/British Council called 'A4A' Activate for Action: Socio-cultural Dialogue through Sports for delivery early 2014. We have always honoured our obligations to our funders and clients. V2020 parades arrays of professionals in fields such as Accounting, International Training, Project Management, International Business Administration who manages day to day activities of the organization. We have the capacity and the resources to run both local, transnational and International projects. V2020 also enhances young people’s personal development through wider community involvement, train, empower, and skill them through coaching, mentoring; thereby improving their self-confidence and esteem.
