About our cause

My college takes part in the World Challenge to various destinations every year. For 2017, their chosen destination is Ecuador! The trip consists of 28 days of traveling through the country as we learn about the history of its people and about the nature and habitats in which it hosts. We are involved in various activities and there are 4 stages to the expedition; Acclimatisation, Trekking, Project and Rest and Relaxation! We will do little treks to get us used to the altitude and prepare us for the main 4-day trek. Project phase is when we carry out our chosen project activity whether it is community based or conservation. I am extremely excited to help people in Ecuador; I think it will make me appreciate the little things in life when I see how simply they live their lives which is an amazing life experience just before I go to University! Rest and Relaxation consists of fun activities such as white water rafting, diving and swimming! Not only is this trip a unique experience, but it should also be an eye opening adventure.
