About this cause

About our cause

Established in May 2009, Wakey Wheeled Cats is an all-female flat track roller derby league. Set up as a not-for-profit organisation. The league is run by the skaters. Being Wakefield's original roller derby league is something we are very proud of. We provide athletic opportunities for women through roller derby, with a view to compete on a national level while building individual competitive teams within the league. Any money raised would goes towards hall hire and travel costs.
