About Wark Let's Get Cooking
Let's Get Cooking is a club run by volunteers to encourage children at Wark First School to appreciate good healthy food by cooking and tasting a variety of recipes.They learn about hygiene in food preparation and how to be safe in the kitchen. Every child has the chance to create a dish to take home twice each term. A fund raising Family Curry Night was very popular. The children cooked Chicken Rogan Josh, Dhall, Vegetable Samosas, Naan Bread, Raita and Fresh Mango Chutney served with rice.
