The forests of Madagascar are being cut down at an alarming rate, with only 10% of original forest remaining, so there is an urgent need for conservation as deforestation has a detrimental affect on the biodiversity of the island. I’ve been offered the opportunity to join Operation Wallacea for a 2 week long expedition in order to aid research on how the forest structure and biodiveristy in the forests are changing over time. All donations will be put towards the costs of the expedition
