About Wado-Ryu Karate Academy Scotland - WKA Scotland
WKA Scotland Karate Club has been running in East Lothian and has been very successful for over 15 years, We train in the Traditional style of Japanese Wado Ryu. We have many students ranging from the age of 6 to 50 years old. We have two students who have trained for over 15 years and are now competing at European and World level Karate. One is going to be competing in the Wado ryu world championships in Tokyo on 23rd of August 2009 Senior Student Mark Taylor. Our instructors do not charge for any coaching fees, we all do it out the kindness of our heart and love doing it. We have had many trips to courses and competitions either funded individually or by the club themselves after organised fund raisers such as race nights.
